Join us in the fight against Human Trafficking

1 in every 150 people worldwide is a victim of human trafficking, bringing in a profit of USD150 billion yearly and making it the second most profitable illegal industry after drugs.

Recognising the problem, International Needs has partnered with Chab Dai initiatives. Over the last six years, we have been able to help raise funds to employ lawyers to prosecute suspected human traffickers.

CHAB DAI

More than 50 million people are in human trafficking, an increase of 10 million since 2016. Chab Dai offers case management support, legal support, and community-based care. Human trafficking is a complex issue fueled by social inequality, gender inequality, poverty, culture, history, and economic disempowerment. Chab Dai created a programme to help combat this, the Chab Dai Legal Support Project. Beginning in 2005, this project aims to financially support lawyers to help prosecute those responsible for human trafficking.

This project has seen 32 convictions, 96 survivors of human trafficking flown back home, 253 counselling sessions and 34 cases currently in the trial process.
